How we help

Building the knowledge and confidence of funders to take bolder action on the climate crisis

Bespoke consultancy services

Impatience Earth is fully funded by large climate foundations, so we do not charge for our standard services. This enables us to act as a ‘critical friend’ – equally supporting and challenging our clients to think ambitiously and be bold in their actions.

Our approach is centred around helping our clients to understand how climate change can fit within their philanthropic strategy. We recognise that each funder is unique, and at different stages of their climate philanthropy journey.

Through co-creation with our clients, we develop customised journeys that enable exploration of their goals and values. Together, we identify areas for deeper learning, develop strategies, and map out high-leverage opportunities that maximize their impact on addressing the climate crisis, while weaving in the principles of climate justice.

As climate knowledge and relationship brokers, we facilitate access to an extensive network of climate experts, practitioners, activists, and academics. By harnessing their expertise, we help our clients make sense of the climate emergency in a way that resonates with their philanthropic vision.

We are not a grantmaking organization. We leverage our networks, partnerships and sector experts to help identify high-impact organisations, ideas and individuals actively addressing the climate crisis.

These solutions range in sectors and approaches, from food systems, land use and energy, to strategic litigation, movement building, nature-based approaches and more.

A typical learning journey comprises a series of expert sessions, the creation of short briefings and reports, and facilitation of strategy workshops. If you require more complex strategic support that goes beyond our core services, please get in touch so that we can explore how we might support.
