Impact on Urban Health’s Climate, Health and Community Fund

Insights and Learning Report

The UK’s independent advisor on climate change warns that global warming could reach 2°C by the 2030s and 2.5°C by the 2050s, making climate hazards like extreme heat and flooding more frequent. Vulnerable groups, including children, the elderly, low-income individuals, and racially minoritised communities, are most affected. In response, Impact on Urban Health (IoUH) launched the Climate, Health, and Community Fund in 2022, supporting Black and Brown-led organisations addressing health and climate issues.

This report from Impatience Earth offers insights and recommendations for embedding climate justice in IoUH’s work, and offers guided to inspire other funders to take action.
